Family Traditions

are the best! One of our favorite Christmas traditions is going to the Crystal Cathedral every year to see

The Glory of Christmas.

This is an incredible show with flying angels, live animals (including camels, horses, sheep and a donkey) and amazing singing. It really reminds us about the reason we celebrate Christmas.

In part 2 of the tradition, we all go to Panda Inn for chinese food.

Canadian Thanksgiving

On the 19th our family with many others celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving. It was great fun and the food was excellent! Unfortunately we were not able to sing the national anthem, but hey there's always next year. And in honor of this great country tonight we will be feasting on french fries and gravy. :)

John's Birthday

Yesterday was John's 54th birthday. To celebrate we made him a pot roast, mashed potatoes, and green beans smuthered in butter. After Mika made him rice pudding which was delicious!

Matt and Austin

Matt and Austin have been friends since Matt was in kindergarden and Austin was in 1st grade. Over the years they had many adventures together from catching the one-legged toad underneath the trampoline to digging countless holes in the backyard and then filling them with water to make mud bathes. Austin moved away during his freshman year, but always comes back for a visit and some crazy fun with his buddy.

Sometimes they have too much fun.
